NOT Sleeping in Seattle

Greetings from beautiful, sunny Seattle.  Yes, sunny and clear blue skies.  Hard to believe but it has been a mild winter this year.

A See It. Say It. Do It! book signing was arranged at a great children’s bookstore in Seattle, Mockingbird Books.  Thanks to Linda and Sue at the book store, all went exceptionally well.  A great group of 40 people, including parents, teachers, optometrists, vision therapists, speech/language therapists and psychologists attended.  My gratitude to Dr. Nancy Torgerson for her assistance in sharing my visit with many of her patients and referral sources.  Also, many thanks to my daughter Becky, who arranged the book signing and invited many friends and colleagues.

We forgot our camera for the event, but had it for the mountain fun the next day.  Off to Leavenworth, WA which is a great little town on the east side of the mountains.  The weather was so beautiful that there wasn’t enough snow for us to cross country ski or snow shoe.  So we took a several hour hike.

TaDah! in the beautiful WA mountains.
