Dr. Lynn Hellerstein of Vision Beyond Sight speaks with Hannah Walton, vision therapist and intuitive wellness guide, to talk about holistic wellness—exploring the power of slowing down, nourishing the nervous system and reconnecting with our intuitive wisdom as a compass for living with more balance, authenticity, and alignment. She starts with breathwork. Breath is medicine, and it is our anchor to grounding and bridge to our intuition. She teaches us that intuition is not woo-woo – it’s wisdom – so follow it even if it defies logic. Discover our three brains: the head brain, heart brain and gut brain, each with its own intelligence. Find out about heart-brain coherence and how to become heart-led humans. As a vision therapist, Hannah helps build resilience, confidence and trust with our sensory system by integrating holistic wisdom and collaborating with other fields towards total wellness. She reminds us that slowing down is a radical act of self-care, and self-care is ultimately soul care. Be wild. Be brave. Be intuitive.

About Hannah Walton:
Hannah Walton is an Australian woman who truly embodies her divine feminine essence. You can find her on Instagram as @wildwellness_withhannah or in the vision therapy room, where she works in practice alongside her mother Susan Walton Optometrist who has been in the world of behavioral optometry for over 40 years.
For over 16 years, Hannah has been an accredited Vision Therapist, guiding children and adults through neurological healing, learning breakthroughs and the intricate dance between brain and body.
More recently, she has stepped into the wondrous world of Wellness & Development Guidance—a path she was born to walk. In this space, she blends science with soul, offering practices that honour intuition, nervous system nourishment, breathwork, journaling, ritual, and the art of self-care.
Every morning, Hannah begins her day by grounding and setting intention. This daily rhythm reflects the heart of her work: living with presence, authenticity, and devotion. Sharing her passion, knowledge, lived experience, and innate wisdom has become her soul work—inviting others to connect to their own inner flame.
What makes Hannah unique is the way she bridges both worlds. As a vision therapist, she understands how eyes, brain and body connect to shape our learning, movement, and wellbeing. As an Intuitive Wellness Guide, she supports people to reconnect with their heart, intuition, and cycles of self-love. Together, these roles weave a holistic approach—healing that honors both the clinical and the spiritual, the physical and the emotional.
Hannah also loves travelling the world, finding inspiration in diverse cultures and weaving ancestral wisdom and experiences into her work. Whether in her clinic, her writing or her virtual and in-person workshops, she is passionate about facilitating connection and open communication—creating safe, heart-led spaces where people feel seen, heard and supported.
Hannah’s journey of growth and healing has been far from linear, but always authentic. She knows the freedom that comes from being unapologetically herself. By showing up as her sensational self, without apology, she creates space for others to do the same—reminding us all that self-care is not a luxury, but a lifeline.

“Some may think that intuition is a little woo-woo but it’s actually wisdom. It’s an innate wisdom that speaks through our body, emotions and synchronicities that occur. It allows us to step into a place of heart coherence where our heart is open. The more open we are, even to the challenging or overwhelming things, the quicker we can often flow through them.” – Hannah Walton
