Dr. Hellerstein Reports an Extraordinary Tour De Optometry Year

Now in its sixth year, the COVD Tour de Optometry Program continues to bring “private practice” to the schools and colleges of optometry. “The Tour continues to thrive. We are connecting with the optometric students, residents, faculty, and the administration at all the schools and colleges of optometry across the United States and Canada,” states Dr. Lynn F. Hellerstein, co-chair of the Tour program.
15 schools of optometry in the US and two in Canada were visited, including one of the new optometry schools, Western University of Health in Pomona, CA.  Read the entire article, click here.

See some of the comments from students:

“I think inviting scholars to come lecture on different aspects of optometry is very beneficial and useful. It’s much more exciting and educationally effective to hear these words from someone who is actively practicing in their field of specialty and it helps broaden my perspectives on optometry in a memorable way.”

Its truly a pleasure to work with the students & faculty at the Colleges/Universities of Optometry throughout North America
