“Always Bev was designed basically because before anything happens, there’s always some sort of warning signs. And after my sister was killed, it was kind of like all the warning signs came rushing by us. There were warning signs but we didn’t see it until after the fact.” – Barb Jordan

“If you don’t see it coming, it is scary. If you don’t know what to do, it is scary. I don’t go out there and say, ‘If you do this, this is gonna happen.’ That’s not the approach. The approach is that I talk about real-life situations and we can all make decisions to be safe.” – Barb Jordan
